Our mission is to win souls for Christ by spreading the gospel of Jesus, worshiping in spirit and truth, in the manner of the Friends church, and to live and learn according to God's Holy Word.
Who We Are
We enjoy having events throughout the year, get togethers, cookouts, the famous homemade noodle booth at the town's Festival of the Falling Leaves.
Members of our congregation, including the pastor, are in the local band, the BackPorch Pickers!
Men from our church are also some of the founders of the
PASTOR LARRY TRUITT
Pastor Larry Truitt and his wife, Laverna, have been with Sugar Plain since 1987. Larry enjoys bluegrass music and is a retired Indiana HVAC instructor.

SAM FISCHER
Sam Fischer and his wife, Jen, came to Sugar Plain in June of 2025. Sam plays guitar, enjoys board games, and reading.
